Isn’t this just foam?

At the end of they day….yes. But there really is more to it than that. We designed it with a square cut to prevent it from rolling around under the furniture. We cut it to specific dimensions to provide the most flexibility for different room set ups. And we specifically tested many foam types and densities to ensure a lightweight but secure compression fit under your furniture. At the end of the day, we simply couldn’t find the right foam for the application on the shelf at our hardware store….so we went about making it ourselves.

Will my cat eat the foam?

Maybe. I don’t know your cat. What I can tell you is that we have pets in our own homes…both cats and dogs…and they are completely uninterested with the toy blockers. Except for the fact that the little ring that goes around the milk jug no longer gets lost out of reach under the couch…

will they get dirty?

You bet. These are designed to keep items from ending up under your furniture, not to repel dust, dirt and pet hair. But if you ever move your sofa and are shocked by the amount of stuff stuck to the foam, brush it off, throw it in the delicate cycle of your washer and return it to under the furniture when fully dried. Should be good as new!

will they stay in place?

Normally…yes. Normal furniture use should not disturb the compression fitting. If your grandson’s are leaping off of the furniture trying to kill each other, or your niece is using the couch as a gymnastics practice area, then all bets are off. But if they shift, simply squeeze, fit and forget again!
